I’m here to support you to find hope and healing in your story.

I am a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker in the state of California, under the supervision of Ah Hyun Lee LCSW. I have gained all clinical hours and am waiting to take the License exam to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

I am an EMDR trained and trauma therapist. In EMDR therapy, I draw from an attachment-focused perspective, integrating EMDR techniques with a focus on exploring and resolving attachment-related issues to promote healing and strengthen interpersonal connections. Additionally, I have experience with evidenced-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and ACT that are effective in alleviating symptoms of anxiety, depression, addiction, self-esteem, and life stressors.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and accepting. As your therapist, I create a space where you can freely express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions without fear of judgment - a space where security and trust become the foundation for your inner work. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals in the AAPI and BIPOC communities. As a perpetual learner, I am committed to understanding how your cultural identity shapes your unique and lived experiences. Feel free to come as you are, fully authentic and emotionally honest with yourself. 

Following our sessions, you can experience positive outcomes: acceptance, self-compassion, emotional release, and relief, with a newfound sense of hope and healing. My ultimate goal is to help you gain a renewed sense of confidence that enables you to navigate your everyday life and achieve your life goals. EMDR Therapy is structured and trauma-focused in an expedited process with lasting results. It encourages you to attune and pay attention to all aspects of your memories and your reactions in the present moment. All aspects refer to images, physical sensations, emotions, thoughts, and beliefs. You get to listen to and care for your inner child. Its process of healing also asks you to be creative in your unique way.

As an EMDR Trained Therapist, I can help you process single traumatic incidents, such as PTSD or adjustment issues. This means if you have experienced an accident or an experience that you continue to feel stuck about, I can help you feel “unstuck” and move forward in your life.

Outside of my life as a therapist, I am a wife, daughter, sister, friend, dog mom, and an Asian/Pacific Islander American. I was born and raised in Southern California and currently live very close to the beach. I received my education from Baylor University in Texas, but moved back home shortly after, realizing that I’m a California girl at heart. I value spending my free time with family and friends, and living an active lifestyle consisting of surfing, yoga, rock climbing, skiing, and walking on the beach trail. I'm a firm believer in the incredible mental health benefits of exercise. I’m also a sucker for reading a good book and traveling somewhere new. I’m honored to be able to step into this space together. I look forward to connecting with you!
